In this indie comedy, Harper—the reckless and outspoken best friend—urges her shy, uncertain co-worker Carly to dump her boyfriend Steven. The twist? They all work at the same restaurant. What follows is a sharply written, laugh-out-loud conversation about workplace drama, female friendship, and emotional independence.

Directed by Leslie Lank and shot by cinematographer Mike Monaghan, with sound by Hector Mendez, The Industry teaser offers a raw and quirky glimpse into the highs and lows of restaurant life.

Premiered publicly on Vimeo, this teaser helped successfully raise funds to shoot the full short film in June 2024.
